Support & Advice Consultancy services for charities and social enterprises

Support & Advice

We are here to support charities to develop, become more resilient and guide them through the tricky issues we all face.

Be extraordinary.

We have been working with charities since 2008 and know that running a charity can be challenging.  We also know that in these turbulent times you have to be the best at what you do to deliver services, enable you to lead your team, attract funding, and have the greatest impact. Our Support & Advice consultancy service is led by in-house staff with experience in third, private and public sectors, who can support you to develop, become more resilient and overcome challenges.

If you are looking for support please get in touch for a chat about our Support & Advice consultancy service.

Success

A clear vision, a steady nerve, a guiding hand and an appetite to succeed. We are here to help. We have 10 years’ experience of helping essential charities to become extraordinary charities. We can help with procurement, connecting with local authorities, developing business models, developing trading arms, and identifying future funding streams. Using methods such as Cost Benefit Analysis we can help you illustrate the monetary and social value of your services, and work with you on your strategy and implementation.

Resilience

For a charity, being resilient is about more than surviving; it’s about being able to react and adapt to changes and to bounce back stronger. What makes a charity resilient? In our experience, it is the people. In this everchanging environment, strong, effective leadership is vital. We know that at times every charity can face challenges in performance, people management, service delivery and stakeholder engagement. We can help you to identify risk, improve long-term financial planning, increase the strength and resilience of your organisation and work more efficiently to increase your impact.

Tricky issues

As a leader of a charity, you can anticipate challenges, but you may not have the capacity or expertise within your organisation to overcome them on your own. Be it personnel, financial management or strategy, we understand the complexities and sensitivities that charities face, and our diverse and experienced team can help. We can also bring our pool of more than 400 specialist pro bono volunteers to provide a wraparound service to get you through turbulent times.

If you are looking for support to develop, become more resilient or to guide you through some tricky issues, then please contact us for a chat about our Support & Advice consultancy service.  Our approach is to facilitate an introductory half-day strategy session to understand and identify your immediate priorities. We then work with you to develop a strategy and action plan, and pull in the appropriate support from our in-house staff. –

Since 2008, we have worked with over 300 charities. As a result, we understand what makes charities effective, efficient, resilient and sustainable and therefore able to transform the lives of the people they seek to help, which is why we have developed our Support & Advice consultancy service  to support charities which are not in our existing portfolios.
