A free global pro bono legal service is expanding to Scotland through the collaboration with Legal firm CMS and Inspiring Scotland.
TrustLaw is the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s global pro bono legal programme which connects high-impact NGOs and social enterprises with the best law firms and corporate legal teams to provide them with free legal assistance.
Sarah Farrelly, Legal Officer, TrustLaw said: “TrustLaw was created to spread the practice of pro bono to drive social change, and we are eager to continue engaging with our community in Scotland. We believe there is strong potential for growth for TrustLaw in Scotland as we understand that pro bono legal services are becoming an increasingly important focus for law firms here, coupled with a great Scottish history of a thriving third sector.”
