Enable Scotlander delivers a range of support services across Scotland – including providing employment and skills support, helping over 4,500 people with disabilities or other challenges into employment.

Part of this work includes Stepping Up, an innovative school transition programme supporting young people to explore their aspirations, achieve accredited qualifications and reach a positive destination after leaving school. The Youth Action Fund is supporting Stepping Up to cover 3 new Local Authority areas, which are often missed for traditional support.

New commitment to mentoring programme supporting children and young people living in kinship care arrangements.

An award of £450,000 from The Robertson Trust will enable Inspiring Scotland to expand intandem, the national mentoring programme for children and young people looked after at home, to include 8-14 year olds living in kinship care arrangements across Scotland. intandem recognises that young people looked after while living at home can experience challenging circumstances.
