We identify and solve social problems on a national scale. We develop new ideas and practices to improve the way the voluntary sector changes the lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in society.
We develop ideas and organisations, committing time and expertise to build capacity and capability in the charity sector. Our interventions range from building the resilience of small charities to transforming the operating model of established charities. We establish and streamline processes and systems and help people to learn new skills and unlock their potential.
We solve problems; it’s what we do. Since 2008, we have run nine large-scale funds and six operational consultancy projects, and helped more than 300 charities work better and smarter and maximise their impact. We’ve built a network of more than 350 Pro Bono experts who have volunteered millions of pounds’ worth of vital assistance. In that time we have seen every issue faced by the charity sector, and our expert staff and Pro Bono volunteers have helped to solve them.
Our expertise, experience, knowledge and networks can help organisations across Scotland improve practice and maximise impact. We can identify social issues and design effective solutions, we can strengthen and energise policy sectors.
We are committed to making Scotland a better place and believe a strong and collaborative charity sector is integral to that aim.
