The in-depth knowledge that our Performance Advisor has of our organisation enriches and accelerated what is possible. This is then further enhanced by the expertise and knowledge available from the Pro Bono network.
Being supported by Inspiring Scotland is so much more than just receiving money; the impact of its legacy will never leave Street League and the lives of young people being supported.- 14:19 Fund Venture
Focusing on providing non-financial support is critical to the venture philanthropy approach Inspiring Scotland uses. It helps ventures become stronger more robust and sustainable organisations.
Alongside the financial investment, we support our ventures to grow and maximise their impact. We also work hard to ensure they can sustain their operations beyond the lifetime of the Inspiring Scotland investment.
A Dedicated Team
Each Fund has a dedicated team of Inspiring Scotland Performance Advisors who have an in-depth relationship with each venture. Performance Advisors monitor progress and advise on key issues relating to how the investment is spent. This includes challenging performance and delivery of outcomes, advising on operational and strategic issues and supporting organisational development and growth. Performance Advisors are supported by the wider Inspiring Scotland team.
More than 250 people have joined the volunteering pro bono pool with Inspiring Scotland, providing a broad range of skills and on a wide range of projects. From accountancy, HR, legal advice, to business development, mentoring and marketing.
The powerful mix of money and skills can help to change the lives of even more disadvantaged people and communities across Scotland.
