The aim of Tomorrow’s People is to help those that are disengaged to get a job and keep it long term, and it operates nationally. ‘Working It Out’ uses a combination of personal challenges and one-to-one support to build skills and confidence, enabling excluded young people to move into employment, education or training. It is delivered at a local level, integrating young people with their local communities.
14:19 Fund investment will take ‘Working It Out’ to a level in Scotland where it can create economic, social and political impact. Development and expansion of this programme is part of a seven year strategy which will build capacity in Glasgow and develop new bases in Edinburgh, Inverclyde and Ayrshire, covering five hot spot areas.
