Audit Committee
The Audit Committee has delegated responsibility on behalf of the Board for:
- Ensuring that there is a framework for accountability.
- Examining and reviewing all systems and methods of control including risk analysis and risk management.
- Ensuring the charity is complying with all aspects of the law, relevant regulations and good practice.
Richard Sweetman, FCA is an external appointment to the audit committee and is an independent special adviser. Richard was the Head of Ernst & Young’s Transactions Support Team until 2007 and is Chairman of the R. S. Macdonald Charitable Trust.
