One Parent Families Scotland was established in 1944 providing lone parent, and other families, with a needs led range of high quality, effective services. The organisation headquarters are in Edinburgh with local service offices in Aberdeenshire, Dundee, Motherwell, Maddiston (Falkirk), Glasgow, and Paisley. The services provided include: Childcare at Home; Flexible Childcare Services including home-based childcare; mobile crèches and transport services; Family Support and employability Services; policy and research; information and advice services; and training for lone parents.

The Go Play programme, which will be delivered primarily within the childcare at home services, will consist of three elements: Staff Training; a Play and Stay pilot in Dundee; and free play resources.
