CVS North Lanarkshire is the umbrella body for local community voluntary organisations. The organisation delivers a range of services to the voluntary sector and has established key partnerships with voluntary and community organisations and statutory agencies.

CVS North Lanarkshire has been funded to provide support in establishing a Play Association with charitable status which will support and represent local play providers and promote Free Play across North Lanarkshire. Go Play funding will allow the Play Association to employ a Development Officer to build the capacity of this new organisation to act as a focal point for improving free play opportunities in North Lanarkshire through consultation and action on common issues, promoting the uptake of membership, establishing effective communications and networking between members and identifying and assisting in meeting members' needs.
