The two-year Go Play programme has now officially come to an end. The aim of the £4 million programme was to build the capacity of the play sector in Scotland, offering more chances for children aged five to 13 years to participate in free play.

Go Play invested in a Portfolio of 27 charitable ventures that all have made a significant contribution through free play to improve children’s lives.

Over 17,000 additional hours of free play sessions have taken place by the ventures across Scotland benefiting thousands of children.

An evaluation of the impact of Go Play will be published in the Spring of this year and we look forward to sharing this with you.
